** We had a great hunt this year, even though the weather was not cooperative.  We want to thank all of our hunters, sponsors and volunteers for helping us raise needed funds for our athletic programs.  Continue to check the photo gallery for pictures from the 2010 hunt.  We will add photos as they become available.  If you hunted with us and have some photos from your trip, please send them to Coach Lott at coachlott@maconeast.net.  The dates for 2011 have been set!  Check below for more information.**

Located in the heart of Alabama's "Trophy Black Belt," Macon-East Montgomery Academy has obtained permission from local, private landowners to hunt several thousand acres of some of Alabama's finest hunting properties. Book your 2011 deer hunt now and enjoy time with friends, family, clients or just get away for a weekend to yourself! Macon-East can also make available classroom space and meeting facilities for corporate events.

Friday, January 21

8:00AM - 10:00AM:  Registration at the school

10:30AM:  Welcome and safety meeting

11:00AM - 1:00PM:  Meet with your guide and get settled in your lodging.  Lunch is on your own, but we can help provide lunch if transportation is needed.

2:00PM - Dark:  Hunt

6PM - Until:  Dinner along with prize drawing, storytelling and fellowshipping!

Saturday, January 22

Pre-daylight - 10:00AM:  Hunt

Midday: Lunch, storytelling and checkout the morning harvest 

2:00PM - Dark: Hunt

6PM - Until:  Dinner along with prize drawing, storytelling and fellowshipping!

Sunday, January 23

Pre-daylight - 10:00AM: Final hunt

10:00AM - 11:00AM: Final photos and departure

*Hunters have a voice in their time in and out of the stand.  If a hunter wants to pack a lunch and hunt all day, we can make that happen.  I suggest speaking with us regarding your individual situation.  The above schedule is a basic overview of what most hunters will experience.  In no way does it have to be written in stone.
